ohmygoodness. Its all done, 52 weeks, done. Thank you everyone for your support, couldn't have done it without you all. The people who personally helped me with this, your names should be in the credits of my SELF CAPTURE COLLECTION MOVIE ; on this video I made is the best of my self capture pictures cued with all the songs that belonged to the pictures. Also there are behind the scenes and bloopers at the end of it. Thank you for coming on this journey will me!

Week 50 of 52 - Coco Chanel

I only drink champagne on two occasions, when I am in love and when I am not - Coco Chanel 

 

 Coco Chanel is one of my favorite icons - She literally changed the world, if it wasn't for her us ladies would still be wearing corsets and puffy pink dresses. She created the lovely 'Little Black Dress' and that wonderful, nautical sailor top which we still use today...she came up with so much more, but those particular items I can relate to the most because I use them so much !

The 2008 Coco Chanel movie was pretty amazing, its in French but I still loved it - She lived a hard, tragic life but such beautiful things came from it...

Bits and Bobs - Week 47 of 52

This here ^ is a short film I made. It's kind of 'in place of ' a Self Portrait, its still one though, just moving.

As you can see the title is 'Bits and Bobs' so I put two photos up just for fun, taken at different moments. Hope you like this spontaneous-ness of this blog post ! x

Week 43 of 52 - Reach

I know I shouldn't say this often but I'm not really happy with this picture haha - It was actually raining on and off when it was taken, but for some weird reason you can't see the rain here. 'Hip Hop' has never really been my style, and I know that anybody can do that move haha but I want to stretch myself in the pictures I do, I seem to have a theme in quite a few of them so here is something different!

Thanks to everyone with the lovely ideas! They helped me a lot, and inspired me - and thanks to my mother dearest for the help. Hoping to do another 'rainy' one on Friday so stay tuned!

 Oh gosh looking at all this right now makes me laugh! It was super fun to do, dressing up and trying to find pink in my closet...didn't really work out with that. All this is actually quite 90's, if you were a 90's kid you would remember this delightful, damn, annoying, stuck-in-your-head song haha -Anyways, 12 more weeks to go, can't believe it - if you have any special ideas for the up-coming posts please comment below and tell me!

aaaahah this was so much fun to do, when i got this idea i couldn't wait to try it out! And it basically did work thank heavens, the first picture with one of my favorite paintings on 'The Kiss',  i just adore it, i've got it up in my room and everything. Filming the movie ^ was the best though, it felt like i was part of the moving picture. I am defiantly going to do some more pictures in the future with projectors - Thanks so much for the projector Quist family! And eden darling for the great help X

I know, I've missed TWO WEEKS -That is why I will try and be posting another two posts this week, it's been a busy holiday so I didn't have the time and energy to Self Captures..

This was so fun to do! I've always LOVED this era, everything about the 1920's is just so glamorous, fun, quirky and just simply amazing. I tried to make the pictures look old fashioned, like from that time. I actually havn't seen The Great Gatsby movie yet, I reallllllllllyyyy want to, but I have heard the songs from the movie which I instantly fell inlove with! Both these songs are magical, I'm actually doing a dance to 'A little party never killed nobody' for my dance class, so much fuuuun

Week 35 of 52 - 70's Hippy (Janis Joplin)

Janis Joplin was a 70's hippy, musician who played at the famous Woodstock Festival in 1969 - she was a wild woman with a unique voice. I tried to do a 'redo' picture of her here - what do you think? I could totally be her daughter right?

I didn't use a Janis Joplin song because I couln't find one that I really liked and thought that it would go with this post. So I used these amazing group of men! This song is just the best, its so feel-good and relaxing haha

This was interesting to do haha ... it's a bit of a Queen Elizabeth with a twist- i had to do a lot of research for this one! All i know about her really is that she was a mean lady who didn't bath or brush her teeth aah please correct me i'm wrong...
I found a song, thanks to Tonya for suggesting the Sex Pistols - I know it's not about this ^ queen but i still think it fits in a weird way! And plus these guys have such a shweeet sense of style

Week 33 of 52 - Calm

She drew her breath, awaiting the water's comforting effect.
Gently her eye lids close, she crinkles up her cold nose.
Bent-over, her fingers rest upon the skirts of the pool,
her shivering reflection whispers 'get in you fool'.
Pressing her hands into the icy bricks, she lowers herself into the warm-kicks, of the water.
Carbon Dioxide escapes her lips heavily.
The soft warmth of steam kisses her face lovingly.

Ahhh this was exhasting to do! Well really the editing i did it all in such a mad rush...It doesn't really have a theme...I rushed so hard to find a song and i chose this one, i dont really know why, its just 'calming' i guess and plus it's one of my favorites. If you guys know of another song that could have worked please tell me!
